Litho Printing

AP Landragin

The most common type of commercial printing technology is lithography. The image is burned onto a metal plate using a laser which is then loaded onto the printing press. This image is then inked up and is transferred to a rubber blanket with then transfers the image onto the sheet. Litho printing is commonly used for letterheads, leaflets and flyers, brochures, folders and many other items of print. It is cost effective on longer runs, when compared to digital print. It can also be used to produce special or corporate colours or pantone matched products.
